As we settle into December, I find myself looking back with gratitude for the many blessings life has offered me. The end of the year always seems to bring a whirlwind of emotions—some bittersweet, others joyous.
Lately, I’ve been gathering my thoughts, but it hasn’t been easy. There’s a persistent, vivid image in my mind: “Get out of my way, I’m a speeding train.” It feels like a fitting metaphor for how this year has been—fast, relentless, and full of momentum.
Through all the twists and turns, so many incredible people have come into my life. Some held my hand through the hardest moments, while others laughed with me until tears streamed down our faces. To each of you, I extend my heartfelt thanks. Your presence has been a true gift.
For those following along on the journey of Scribbles to Wisdom, I’ve been saying for a while that it’s destined to become a small blessings and chant book. Life took some unexpected detours, and the manuscripts seemed to vanish for a time, but I’m happy to share an update.
After reflecting, I’ve decided it’s time to stop revising endlessly, set a firm deadline, and finally publish this labor of love. It’s been a long time coming, and I’m excited to share it with the world.
Here’s a small sample of what’s to come:
East, Southwest, North
With sage, I bless this home.
May the negative energy from every corner leave.
Above and below, into the ground it must go,
To the earthly Divine below.
Stay tuned for more updates as this project comes to life. Thank you for being part of this journey, and may the blessings of the season find you wherever you are.
With gratitude,
Rebecca
