For the rest of this month, I’ll be diving into the practice of using tuning forks in everyday life. Sound has always fascinated me—its ability to shift energy, soothe the mind, and even heal the body. I’ve experienced powerful moments during sound baths, where vibrations seem to wash over and realign something deep within. Now, I want to explore this healing modality firsthand.
For guidance, I’m turning to Tuning the Human Biofield by Eileen Day McKusick, a book that delves into the science and practice of sound therapy. Tuning forks, much like other sound healing tools, are believed to interact with our biofield—the energetic field that surrounds and permeates the body. Each frequency resonates with different parts of our system, helping to clear blockages and restore balance.
Throughout December, I’ll be experimenting with tuning forks to better understand their harmonizing effects. How does each frequency feel? Where does the vibration resonate most? How can I incorporate this practice into daily life for greater alignment? These are just some of the questions I hope to answer.
I’ll continue to share insights, along with occasional spreads, that will (hopefully!) align with the frequencies of the tuning forks. Let’s see where this journey takes us.
