The full moon this month arrives on May 12th and carries many names—The Flower Moon, The Hare Moon, or The Planting Moon. Each name reflects the natural world’s blooming energy during this season, when life is stretching, opening, and growing all around us.

But beyond its outer glow, this moon offers a deeper insight:
🌕 A call to discover the beauty within.

In many ways, this moon mirrors the theme of my own work and website—“where the connection to inner knowing happens.” This month’s full moon invites us to recognize not only the beauty of spring but also the truth of our own inner bloom. It’s about developing self-awareness, appreciating the layers of who we are, and seeing that beauty inside and out.

For this month’s Full Moon Ceremony, I’ll be keeping it simple and heartfelt:

• I’ll pour warm water over the backyard grass, as a gesture of care and grounding.
• Then, I’ll sit on the earth, under the glow of the moon, letting its energy bring me back to center.
• I’ll ask the moon to reveal what it sees as my inner beauty.
• And I’ll read aloud the words I’ve written about what I believe that inner beauty is.

It’s not about perfection or performance. It’s about presence.
